Pair of platinum Art Deco diamond bracelets, one worn by Nikki Glaser at the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Nikki Glaser Wears a 1920s Art Deco Diamond Bracelet to the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

Nikki Glaser wore an Art Deco diamond bracelet from Legacy Vintage Jewels to the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, held for the first time at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. She wore it not as an accessory but as a punctuation mark: one bold line of diamonds at the wrist.

A 1920s bracelet at a museum

There is something fitting about a bracelet made in the 1920s ending up at LACMA on one of Hollywood's biggest nights. Art Deco jewelry was never modest. It was geometric, precise and completely sure of its own glamour. The same qualities that made it revolutionary a hundred years ago make it impossible to ignore on a red carpet today.

The bracelet

The bracelet comes from our Pair of Platinum Art Deco Diamond Bracelets. Each bracelet is 7.25 inches long and set in platinum with brilliant, marquise and baguette-cut diamonds, about 70 carats across the pair. They can be worn one at a time, as Nikki Glaser did, or stacked together on one wrist.

How to recognize Art Deco jewelry

Art Deco jewelry, made roughly between 1920 and 1935, is usually set in platinum, with strong geometric patterns, symmetry and a mix of diamond cuts, often old European, single-cut and baguette diamonds side by side. Bracelets from the period tend to be flexible, made of many hinged links so they lie flat on the wrist. Our guide Art Deco, Retro or Mid-Century? explains more, and New York had its own great Deco jewelers too: read about Raymond Yard and the American Art Deco jewelers.

What vintage jewelry is for

Not a display case. Not a safe. A night like this, on a wrist like hers, in a room full of people who know the difference between wearing something beautiful and wearing something that means something.
