Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers on authenticity, returns, shipping, payment and visiting the gallery. If your question isn't here, call us — a person answers.
Is every piece authentic?
Yes. Our gemologists examine every piece before we offer it, and we guarantee the authenticity of everything we sell. The Saidian family has been in the jewelry trade for four generations. If a piece is on our site, we stand behind it.
Can I see a piece in person before buying?
Please do. We host private viewings at our gallery at Rockefeller Center (22 W 48th St, Suite 505, New York), by appointment only. Book a private viewing or call +1 (212) 301-0099 and we will have your pieces on the table when you arrive.
What is your return policy?
You may return an online purchase within five business days of delivery for a full refund to your original payment method. The piece must return in the condition it left us, with tags intact. Watches, made-to-order and engraved pieces are final sale. Full return policy.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit card (American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Discover), bank wire, and bank check. Wire purchases ship once the wire has cleared. Contact us for wire details. Sales tax applies to New York deliveries.
How is my purchase shipped?
Every shipment is fully insured and requires a signature on delivery, in discreet packaging with no external branding. Please allow two business days for processing; we ship Monday through Friday.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, with conditions: international orders ship only to the billing address of the card used, and any duties, taxes or customs charges are the buyer's responsibility. Some destinations are restricted by law. Full shipping policy.
Do you buy jewelry?
Yes. We buy signed pieces, estates and inherited collections. Every conversation is confidential and there is never any obligation. Start here, or WhatsApp photos to +1 (212) 347-0891.
Why is signed jewelry more valuable?
A signature from a great house like Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier or David Webb ties a piece to a documented standard of design and craftsmanship, and collectors pay for that certainty. We wrote a full guide: What "Signed" Means in Estate Jewelry.
How can I tell what era my jewelry is from?
Construction, cut styles, metals and motifs all help date a piece. Our guide walks through it era by era: How to Date Vintage Jewelry by Its Design. Or simply send us photos and we will tell you what you have.
Do pieces come with certificates or appraisals?
It varies piece by piece. Some carry gemological certificates or maker documentation, noted on the listing where applicable. Ask us about any piece before you buy and we will tell you exactly what accompanies it.
